i got the wii version; targeting with the controller is priceless, especially in boss battles. The only major difference is that the map is inverted , but who cares?

the one on wii is much better. you actually get the chance to be Link, and do all his moves and attacks. its much better off than the gamecube one

I got the Wii version, and a friend got the GC one so I could test it a little. The controls are very good, but I prefer the Wiimote control, the only advantage is that you can charge the whirlwind attack.

Definitely for the Wii. :3 The comfort of the Wiimote/nunchuck is total win, though my hubby disagrees with me. >.>

Since I only have the Gamecube, then I have to get the Gamecube version...Besides, my friends say it isn't much fun because when they point the sword at themselves, Link doesn't stab himself.... And, I'm also scared of flinging the controller out of my hand.....

I'll have to go with the GameCube version because its the only I have played. But deep down inside, I know the Wii version beats it ten fold.

Swinging the controller around like a moron is something I don't do. Even though I got a Wii.

Wii because of all the things that will be easier. Shooting your bow, and using the hookshot to name two. It would be absolutely awesome to be able to aim properly instead of half hoping you'll hit the target, plus it'll be a bit more realistic that way. And i've always wanted to swing a sword around:P

I've seen them both and compared them. And I think the Wii version is way better.

One time, my friend forgot he had a GCN instead of a Wii and he tried to move his controller like the Wiimote and he broke his window...anyways, I was tempted on buying the gamecube version in GameStation but I only had £30, and my aunt from America has already got it for me. So Wii version for me.

I own both. Yes, the clawshot and bow and everything are a ton of fun on the Wii, and you can swing the sword, but sometimes you just wanna hit buttons. And EVERYONE ON THIS TOPIC! IT IS NOT A HOOKSHOT! THE HOOKSHOT DOES NOT APPEAR IN THIS GAME! Use the proper tool name. It is the CLAWSHOT. C-L-A-W-S-H-O-T. Or the Double Clawshot. Become educated. It is WAY different from the hookshot. Anyone who has gotten it in TP knows this.

it'd be easier on the gamecube for anyone who's played ocarina of time or windwaker. but for anyone who's new to the series (though it's hard to imagine anyone who isn't), the wii is definitely easier and more intuitive.
