I have played this game on both platforms but I have completed it on the Nintendo Gamecube. Out of the two I liked the Gamecube because the other system made me tire out more and using the Gamecube controller made me feel more relaxed and in control.

I preferred the GCN version; it was so easy to just "jump right in" since the controls were identical to Windwaker and the Ocarina ports. I also prefer my Link left-handed ;) However, it's worth owning Twilight Princess Wii for it's *ahem* other useful purposes. (I have TPWii to thank for being able to play Tasunoko vs. Capcom!) ;)

gamecube, for tighter controls, fewer bugs, etc. the developers simply had more experience with the cube at the time.

There is really no major difference except that the maps are inverted on the wii versionso that means that on the gamecube version link is a lefty and on the wii he swings withhis right

I got the Wii Version for Zelda Twilight Princess, I thought that the Wii version would be much more interesting than the GameCube Version.

Well I already have the wii version and to tell you the truth it''s not that bad. the only peeve I have about it is how it is mirrored. The gamecube version is the original and the Wii version instead of recoding the entire thing just mirrored the entire world and link so that Link would be right handed. (link has been a lefty since the first LOZ)

Hmm. Well, I've never played the GCN version, but I must admit that the controls for the Wii version can be a hassle. I suppose the GC ver. would be reminiscent of the previous Zelda games (in terms of controls) so it might be easier to handle.

The wii version is the best, the controls feel really natural and i love doing the special moveswith the wii-mote. the Game cube version felt like it was a remake of the wii version. What really made me feel sad wasthe wii version and the GCN version had the same graphics and the wii could have done alot better.Same with the new paper mario, it was going to be for the GCN but then they put it on the wii, hence the same graphics.

I am getting the Wii version, since it has the original version and not the inverted version of the maps.

You won't be disappointed either way. However, I personally preferred the GCN maps.
