i don't own a gamecube, but i've succeeded in preordering a wii (limited preorders), and the only difference i know of between the gamecube twilight princess and the wii twilight princess is that there is no fishing minigame in the gamecube version..that obviously won't really matter to some people so they can probably live without buying a wii (though i support the wii and hope that it'll usher in a new generation of nintendo prosperity lol)

There is a fishing minigame in the Wii version, you just can't use the Wii remote for it, which is part of what makes the Wii version better.I'm getting the Wii version because I'm getting the Wii the first day and there's really no reason not to get it with improved controls.

I have no gamecube, gonna get a wii; so logically t'is the wii version for me. . .ta-dee.(My little twilight song)

not really, you could play the gamecube version on the wii, though I dont see why you would.but for mii, I'm getting the Wii version. Miyamoto has already said that the wii version will be the best Zelda ever, and he's never said that for any zelda ever before. MIYAMOTO = GOD

Well,I'm a Zelda fan, big-time. Ergo, I'm getting it on both so I can have them collected. Of course, I'm going to get it on the Wii first and wait until the Game Cube version is as low as it will go, because I can't wait to try playing it with the Wii remotes! So there, treeofmana

Well i dont even think this question should have been thought up. obviously the game was meant for Wii because it utilizes a ton of awesome new features like fishing (obviously would be better for the Wii) and actually swinging the controller to swing links sword plus the graphics are wayyyyyyyyy better on thw Wii trust me look at the gamecube demo and then be blown away by the Wii demo (it's graphics are even better then Xbox!!!) So the Obvious choice would be the Wii B)

Wii for the new features. Isn't the Wii backwards compatible anyways?
