Seriously dude, I see this posted all over the place. I use an ethernet cable to hook up my 360 that comes in the box. I already have an HD-DVD player, as a standalone. The 360 can do 1080p with VGA and component, just not on all TVs. The Elite has an HDMI port. I'd rather pay for XBOX Live than use PS3s online. To actually play a game on the XBOX 360 you can spend $340, including memory card. What if I don't want all these extras that cost me a ton of money? What if I just want to play games? When you compare the systems and are worried about price, it comes out to be a better deal for the ps3When comparing the 2 better systems of each, these are the ps3 advantages: (aka, ps3 has more things included for only $200 more-40 more gigabytes on hard disk drive-100% backwords compatibility with ps2 and ps1 games-Built-in WiFi card ($100 add-on to xbox 360 premium)-Built in hi-def movie player = blu-ray ($149 HD-DVD drive add on to xbox)-HDMI Output (xbox cant achive hightest res: 1080p)-Memory Stick reader (...xbox cant do that, period)- No need to pay $$$ for online gaming, friends, messages, all that is free on ps3 (monthly fee for xbox live)-PS3 discs (blu-ray) can hold 50GB of data (more resolution and more depth and story and niceness of games) where as xbox 360 games are the normal 8GB dvds (pitiful)-Hook up to the psp to add more features in future games, such as a second screen for a map or something like you saw on the Nintendo DS-Games suck right now but will eventually catch up with 360s games.
Is PS3 Worth It?

What do you mean? Is the picture quality bad or they just don't play at all?Well I'd definately not buy one... way overpriced IMO.edit: and btw, according to a magazine (can't remember which one, I have like 5 different computer/gaming/etc magazines =P) PS3's bluray and 360's hd dvd both suck at playing movies...

Also u just fail to notice a lot of factsu want a memory card reader for 360 buy the add on from Nyko for about $30Why would i want to pay $150 for a PSP to use it as a mirror in an F1 game????That is a lame excuse to buy another piece of rubbishAnd about 100% compatability, buy the european console and say the same thing, then i'll agree with uThe wifi add on is only $70 and we get an ethernet cable in the boxAs for HD resolutions, the PS3 out of the box comes with composite cablesWhere as the 360 premium comes with HD component cablesSo which do u think will have better out of the box experience. And the amt we pay for XBOX live is worth every pennyThe servers are fast and how many people are use playstation home???And name any game right now which is there for bluray? If the xbox runs into space limitations all they need to do is span it out across multiple dvds or employ a double sided dual layer dvd.And i don't see any game on PS3 as good as gears of war.Atleast u admit the games suck. And the only good game i see comin as an exclusive is Metal Gear Solid 4Only things i see worthwhile in the PS3 is the cell processor(which is extremely good for folding @ home) and the bluray drive.(its the cheapest bluray player out there)When you compare the systems and are worried about price, it comes out to be a better deal for the ps3When comparing the 2 better systems of each, these are the ps3 advantages: (aka, ps3 has more things included for only $200 more-40 more gigabytes on hard disk drive-100% backwords compatibility with ps2 and ps1 games-Built-in WiFi card ($100 add-on to xbox 360 premium)-Built in hi-def movie player = blu-ray ($149 HD-DVD drive add on to xbox)-HDMI Output (xbox cant achive hightest res: 1080p)-Memory Stick reader (...xbox cant do that, period)- No need to pay $$$ for online gaming, friends, messages, all that is free on ps3 (monthly fee for xbox live)-PS3 discs (blu-ray) can hold 50GB of data (more resolution and more depth and story and niceness of games) where as xbox 360 games are the normal 8GB dvds (pitiful)-Hook up to the psp to add more features in future games, such as a second screen for a map or something like you saw on the Nintendo DS-Games suck right now but will eventually catch up with 360s games.

That adapter really uglifies the PS3 as well. Why didn't they just add a slot?! I've seen tons of places saying the PS3 isn't 100% backwards compatible. I've read that some of the games will never work. All of the original XBOX games are supposed to work on the 360 at some point. Just taking some time, which is kinda bothersome. And the only good game i see comin as an exclusive is Metal Gear Solid 4Only things i see worthwhile in the PS3 is the cell processor(which is extremely good for folding @ home) and the bluray drive.(its the cheapest bluray player out there)

Now most of that is load of crap in my view and it isGears of War 2 made by a microsoft owned(or atleast MS has a share in them) is gonna make the xbox 360's present best game's sequel for the PS3???Do u even have common sense?(no offense,i'm just annoyed)I said it before i'll say it again, how many games now use bluray??If space is such an issue, all any respected game maker needs to do is span the game out across multiple discsAnd if u want to watch HD movies so badly buy the add-on,its ur choice. In the case of the PS3 whether u like it or not, whether u watch bluray movies or not u still have to pay the premiumAs for the games u listed, any idea when its cumin out.And sony lost one of its best exclusives,GTA now is multi-platform,and many games are gonna take the same routei think i have said this before but here are a few good reasonsit is worth it and this is the reason whyBlu-ray player (you dont have to spend $200 like you do with the 360 to get a HD DVD player)Final Fantasy 13 (and FF vs 13)Gears of War 2 (i have been told that it will be exclusive on PS3, but that info might be worng)The King of Iron Fist Tournament 6 (Tekken 6)Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the PatriotsRatchet & Clank Future: Tools of DestructionGod of War 3Gran Turismo 5Time Crisis 4Wipeout 6Ridge Racer 7and many more great games.the PS3 has just started and microsoft has gotten scared and released an Elite version of the xbox 360 (which is still not as good as a PS3 in my view, still no HD DVD player)AsrarQ

You should read that, posted by me. Why in the world, would MS even release it's best selling game, ATM, to Sony? Not only release it, but give it away?!?! That makes no sense whatsoever. Is Halo 3 also going to be exclusive to the PS3?I don't think them releasing the Elite is them being "scared" either. Everyone wants to know: "Hey, Microsoft, where's the HDMI love?" So they made it. If you can't utilize HDMI you don't have to buy it. You don't have to buy it even if you can. I personally wish they just made a dongle cable, like every other cable, which they probably eventually will, but you don't HAVE to buy it. That's good stuff in my view. I don't get it jammed down my throat like with the PS3. Don't need the wireless adapter or card, don't need blu-ray, don't need this gay six axis crap. You've pointed out a good point about the XBOX 360, and a bad point about the PS3. I'd much rather have a separate drive to play DVDs on. Playing DVDs is taxing on a DVD-ROM drive. Why would I want to waste my video game playing drive, watching DVDs? The PS2 was notoriously bad for it's DVD-ROM drive breaking down because people played DVDs in it. The separate drive is not this huge monstrosity that everyone makes it out to be.Someone else brilliantly posted that GoW will be exclusive to the PS3...Why? Is this just some sick joke Epic is playing on us? "Let's give XBOX 360 GoW 1, PS3 GoW 2, and the Wii GoW3." Don't think so dude. If anything, it would be multi-platform, and I don't see that happening anyway.

Hey man you are right about the great game selection, but are any of those games out yet no and like ive been saying why not wait it out until the price drops and quality games come out. I just think its a waste of $600 dollars at the moment. And for your theory on the blue ray, whos to say that they will be the thing of the future, as for movies, only time will tell us that.i think i have said this before but here are a few good reasonsit is worth it and this is the reason whyBlu-ray player (you dont have to spend $200 like you do with the 360 to get a HD DVD player)Final Fantasy 13 (and FF vs 13)Gears of War 2 (i have been told that it will be exclusive on PS3, but that info might be worng)The King of Iron Fist Tournament 6 (Tekken 6)Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the PatriotsRatchet & Clank Future: Tools of DestructionGod of War 3Gran Turismo 5Time Crisis 4Wipeout 6 Ridge Racer 7and many more great games.the PS3 has just started and microsoft has gotten scared and released an Elite version of the xbox 360 (which is still not as good as a PS3 in my view, still no HD DVD player)AsrarQ

The 360 is not tapped out. Most of the games don't use anywhere near the amount of the resources the 360 has. One game that gets close is GoW. As the engine gets older, and more advanced, the amount of resources needed goes down. FYI, the PS3's GPU is NOT as powerful as the 360's.Hey lets face the fact that a $600 dollar machine isnt for the most pratical of consumers, but even so the franchise titles alone is what sells the machine. Do i have one i think not, but in the near future i would have to say yes. Waiting for the price drop and the title increase is essential, and seeing as how Ps3 excusive games are not yet out the graphical limits have not been tested. All the games out right no are all at the 360 level and for what it really can do.. only time can tell us that.

Variety? Is that what you meant to say? And if so, please elaborate on that point. The PS3 does not have better graphics. I don't know why people keep saying that. They are so similar, it's not really worth talking about. But, actually the 360's GPU is better.PS3,sony the best though expensive worth it. best graphix, More verity)Xbox has good games but to much extra crap to buy with it. { For Jerks}nintendo has fun games but the only reason people want the wii is for its controller(Big Deal) {BEST BUY at Cheapo Mart}the price is going down $100 in october 2007.
