Well the only thing I see worth getting a PS3 is for the Gundam games, Kingdom Hearts III and Metal Gear Solid 4

No, not after hearing about all the games that are being pulled from the system due to poor sales. Even now there is little to nothing on the system that I see as a good enough reason to fork out 600 for one.

The PS3 has 8 core CPUs. No wonder why a octa-core console is so expensive ("octa-" is a prefix which stands for eight such as an octagon). It's even more expensive than the full-version of Windows Vista Ultimate!No, not after hearing about all the games that are being pulled from the system due to poor sales. PS3 definitely had a bad start, hopefully its popularity will pick up a soon as more popular games come out ( and maybe some innovative add ons ) and it becomes less expensive.Wii is definitely dominating because of its cheap price and innovation.As for the PS3, it would have done better if the blue ray feature didnt make it incredibly expensive

i think that the PS3 costs too much, but the price won't go down for a while because the costs of production are just too high. Sony doesn't actually make any money from selling PS3's. when it came out Sony was losing about $240 a unit and it didn't increase the sales of their other HD products. The PS3 could potentially kill Sony.

I live in freaking Chile and over here PS3 cost about 1600 dolars, so I went to the US adn I got it for 600 bucks, it was perfect deal for me, and I´m really happy playing Motorstorm, great game

you do know they are having a tough time to make GTA.....because dvd can only hold up to 9 gig(thats what i heard)and blu ray can hold up 50 gig....yes you can put it in 2 disc but would u like to change disc once in a while?the more space you have the better the graphics or gameplaying you will have....well microsoft are release a 120gb hardrive in the near future so that ruins that pointthe ps3 is not 100% backwards compatible sony has confirmed that not all games are bc, microsoft are working on there bc and most popular games are bcso you dont need a wifi card to play the console you can use cables, not everyone has wifi but it is an extraso Hi-def player ad on means you dont wear out the dvd-rom drive in the consoleWhy do you need a memory stick reader on a game console, if you want to plug a memory stick into the xbox 360 you can just plug an external one into the USB portswow you don't have to pay for online gameing on ps3, but xbox live has many more players, a better service and there is more free content on xbox live aswell which you dont have to pay for, ps3 lacks thissince when did games take up 50gb, even if they took up more than 8gb its easy just to make the game a two disk gamewhy would you want to add a second screen for a map on the psp its hardly something that makes me want to buy a ps3well ps3 is not worth it, to much, few good exclusives

Its definitely not worth it. I'd rather get a wii than a PS3 for that price, not to mention that there aren't that many games for the system anyway.

yeah i dont know im caught in between a wii and a ps3 cause i wii is so fun and a ps3 is so real and but the prices the wii is fun and cheap the ps3 is expencive and fun so i like to wii over a ps3 sorry. im a WII!!! fan.

it's not quite worth getting because it's not better then nintendo ds and gba they have much better and a bigger collection of games so it's not quite worth it

The wii does rule, i hate Xbox, and ps3 is a copy of the Wii + Xbox. Nintendo says there making a new consol and theres no control its all by tilting the remote etc. and now ps3 has 360 axis tilt bullshit. Get ur own ideas ps3. Ps 1 - 2 always memorie cards. xbox comes out with hard drive, ps3 comes out with it. ( ok harddrive is a million times better then a stupid memorie card but who cares xbox came up with it. ps3 doesn't introduce anything new and it makes me mad

I happen to ble living in the UK and we have been conned. the ps3s over herwe cost twice as much as in japan or america. And worst of all is they are crippled, they are not backwads compatable. that is why im gonna have to wait another year befor i canm get a propre one at its propre pirce.
