No. This system is not worth it. Sure it's pretty and all, but look at the price! You'd be better off getting a PS2... Not like the games have changed much >_>;;

unless u get the premium xbox most the them usually eat cds. factor in the 250$ + a charger+ a years supply of xboxlive and youve already spent way more then a ps3 costs.No. This system is not worth it. Sure it's pretty and all, but look at the price! You'd be better off getting a PS2... Not like the games have changed much >_>;;

You don't need to factor that in. Xbox live is an option, as is teh PS3's online. As usual the British equivalent is way over-priced at about £280 ($560) but the cost of the console never bothers me, it's more the cost of the games that are worrisome.Since the PS3 is region free though I can get them shipped from the US so yeah, for me it's worth it.

I think it's totally worth it. The legendary software pirates from china have cracked the security package for the PS3 games so I can get them for like 5 bucks.

I bought my PS3 for $399.99 which I thought was a good deal considering that when it first came out the **** things were $599.99For now I'm happy with my PS3. After hearing about all the failures Xbox 360 was having there was no way that I was going to buy an Moneysoft game console lol!

No, I don't think so. There aren't any games I want for it (as of yet) and my computer plays all my dvds just fine. That and I've heard that the system is prone to break down. One of my friends works at a Target and they had to take their PS3 off display because it stopped working.

I wouldn't buy a ps3 because they are still way to expensive in the uk for some one with a below average pay like my self. i would need it to be affordable like the wii.
