A PS3 is definately worth it! You can enjoy all your PS2 and PSOne games, plus you can watch all the latest movies in BluRay!

I have to say, I find Wii better than PS3. The only reason I'll buy this console is because most of my favorite games will continue here, but after finishing them I just usually leave the console alone.

Soon. What they did wrong was release the system at a price too high and with no notable games on there. Now that its starting to gain those games and come down in price its becoming a better buy. Plus its one of the cheapest blue ray players on the market atm

I think you need to buy. The best games are for it (RPG-s), like Final Fantasy series, or Kingdom Hearts, and I love much better the controller (and controlling) than the X-box's one. Wii could be good too, but if you want to play with new games, with high graphic and good story, your change would be PS3.

be careful if u get a ps3 within 1 month mine would no longer read any discsand i had 2 wait another month b4 i got it bak from sonyand apparently it has a big problem with the disc reader

PS3 would be worth buying if it had more quality games. Until that time, (which is soon I think, with MGS and GTA) I'd say no.

I think it's well worth it.I bought it a month after it came out and the total was around $900 Canadian ( $100 warranty ).Man was that a wallet emptier, but it was worth it.
