you must be crazy! ps3 will actually rock. It has faster game play, more complex graphics and game style as well as sweet new games only available with sony. I do agree that the 360 is better online for the interface, but not in the fact that ps3 can go on any part of the web, with a plugged in keyboard and/ or mouse, and other stuff, u cud actually cut out the need for a computer, if pc games wernt that gd

I've been a Sony gamer for most my life, (Albeit I havn't too long a life) though; the price tells me to lean towards Nintendo (I would NEVER touch an XBox, those things are SIN)I think I'll just wait for some more titles to come out for reach though; as most gamers are doing.... hopefully some good traditional fighting games will come out for the Playstation 3; Super Smash Bros Brawl is good as were the other installments in the series but Nintendos never had a solid set of good games for the combat enthusiast.

Question: Does anyone actually care about Blu-Ray? When is any company ever going to make a 50GB game? Oblivion is huge, and I mean huge, annoyingly huge at times. It's 4.5GB. How much bigger do u need? As for the disc-playing...There are already reports of this system not reading some Blu-Ray discs. Anyone reminded of the PS2? There were several DVDs that I couldn't even watch on the PS2. Some I got all the way to the end of, and it wouldn't let me see the last part of the movie. I used to defend the PS3, but the more I read about it, the more and more I begin to see that it is complete crap. Which is a shame. I actually wish that it was better than the 360, so I could go out and get it, sadly it's not. Therefore, it couldn't possibly be worth it. May seem strange to some people, but I actually buy gaming consoles to play games. Strange, eh? Unless and until this system actually has a game that looks anything close to GoW, it's definitely not worth it. All cross platform games look better on the 360. Oh, and let my buy an adapter if I wanna plug a PS2 memory card into it. PS3's a joke.

If you think about all the features that your getting with the PS3 you will see that it is actually underpriced. For one you will be getting a console that plays Blue-Ray disc, which no other console out can; the estimated price of the new blue ray disc players will be between $500 and $800. And lets say a 60gig hard-drive costs $30 (internal), then you have wireless, motion sensor control $30, and a Cell Broadband Engine which i'll estimate to be around $300. So in all you would spend $1160 for all the same feature you get in a PS3 now for $600. Yeah the price seems high when you dont think about all your getting.

well i'll say that it's definitely not worth the buy rite now but if u give it a year or 2 it'll get better since the games that'll come for the ps3 will match or beat the old ps games, so i'm waiting for it's price to go down abit and some better games to come out b4 buying it..

yea most ppl who are saying to wait are right. but i dont think u might have to wait that long as like a year i say next october maybe like a year at most i doubt sony would wait 2 years. Sony is a great company they probably will come up somehting great soon for the ps3.

lol, I THink they make the PS3 so expensive so that noone will mod it! But i wonder... with the price of the PS3 games... you still might save a bundle even if you go through a couple PS3s
