Well i'd say family guy says everything the simpsons were scared to say. Older episodes of the simpsons used to be funny on many levels, but the newer episodes seemed to lack something, even the movie lacked alot, family guy however is pretty consistently funny, especially the family guy movie

Family Guy. The sheer random humour just gets me. The jokes are really unexpected (Peter's part time job with that Burger King thing.) The jokes aren't very over used and are original or pop culture like jokess.

I vote simpsons. FG was great in its first few seasons, but lately it has become pretty trite. Nothing new or particularly funny, just really stupid. Granted the simpsons have their own slump, but I still like it more.

Hell yeah, man! I'm with you on that one! Futurama is the greatest. But I'll have to disagree with the Zoidberg owning, the Professor owns ALL of them! On the rest of that, I don't care for South Park, but I have seen a few funny scenes emerge from it. I can't stand the Simpsons at all, it makes me fall asleep. And Family Guy is pretty frickin hilarious! But I hate American Dad. It just... sucks.And if I hear one more spiderpig quote, I'm gonna spin my head round and hurl pea soup.

Family Guy appeals more so to idiots with no sense in taste than The Simpsons.Simpsons used to have clever and witty jokes behind their episodes, but now they've just been degraded to childish dribble. Don't get me wrong, Family Guy can be good sometimes, but they just try too hard and repeat the same crap over and over again.South Park is the best.

Family Guy may not be sophisticated but it's written by manatees, give them a little credit. They both make me laugh but Family Guy does it the best, The Simpson is just getting tired.
