Oh man, two of the best Americanized cartoons. The reason why I dont watch Simpsons is because I never go to Ch. 2 and i hate the commercials inbetween it! Family Guy, on the otherhand has better commercials (is there such a thing?) and is generally funnier.

Family Guy, I know Seth copies from the Simpsons but I prefer Family guy's style. I guess it's more "modern" if you will. The Simpsons is so 90's...

I like the comedy of Family Guy but I like the bloody hell in Sipmsons so i think it's a tie.

hmmmm. i would say... that it's too hard to choose. family guy is absolutely hilarious, but the simpsons has subtle humor. if i really had to choose, i guess i would pick family guy over simpsons.

Comparing all of the family guy seasons to the simpsons' first few seasons I'll give the nod to the simpsons by a huge margin, and even overall I still think simpsons>familyguy

I am a die hard simpsons fan. I have seen every episode at least three times some of them a lot more. I like watching the old ones. They are very funny and have multiple layers of humor

Family guy gives me the hyena laughs. The Simpsons don't make me laugh all that much, but I'd go with the Simpsons. I don't know what it is about that show, but it's made me a loyal fan. I don't watch it anymore though, so I guess I'm not a fan anymore :[

I like Simpsons better. Family Guy is just too violent and weird for me. The Simpsons are really funny and their jokes make more sense to me.

family guy definitly. simpsons is old school, out of date but on the early days it was the best. if this topic was between futurama and the simpsons then the simpsons for sure. and there is also the stewie/brian factor, who doesnt love those two?
