I love both, and family guy is funnier to me, but IMO the simpsons is still a better show.

Family Guy hands down. Family Guy is funnier and they seem to be fresh compared to the Simpsons.

i dont care much for the older episodes of family guy but i love the newer ones and for simpsons i also dont care for the older ones but the new ones are good and i grew up with the old ones so im gonna have to say The Simpsons

I think Family Guy is the better of the two, it is so much funnier and has a lot more pop culture references than The Simpsons. That and I can actually UNDERSTAND the characters...

This is a tough choice. On the one hand, you have the Simpsons, which has always delivered, but has been failing as of now, or Family Guy, which isn't as refined, but is getting better.I'd have to side with Family Guy.

Sadly both shows have gone downward. South Park ftw, but that's not the point...Family Guy hasn't made me laugh in a long time, and the Simpsons new episodes are mediocre compared to seasons 1-9 with a few exceptions.. Nonetheless, Simpsons win because of The Debarted, and That 90s Show.

The Simpsons have been on way too long. Family guy is so much funnier. How often do you see Maggie try to kill Marge or talk to the alcoholic dog? So much funnier.

I really prefer the Simpsons. Family Guy is just a string of pop culture references. Of course, I haven't watched it in a long time, so I don't know if they still do that or not. Most of them seem to be flashbacks and then something happens in the flashback.

I used to watch Simpsons when I was about five or six. After that, it stopped being entertaining. It's more like a soap opera now. The humor just isn't sharp enough. It's a bit dry, I think, but at least they're funnier than King of the Hill (honestly, who invented that waste of paper?). Simpsons is all right to watch if nothing else is on, but Family Guy is actually funny. Even my parents watch it.

Family Guy. Mostly because I can catch up with that series a lot easier than say 600+ episodes of the simpsons. I also find Family Guy a lot funnier
