Family Guy all the way...there's nothing Seth McFarland won't make fun of and he does such a good job doing it.

I like the older Simpsons shows, but they've kinda gone soft with the new shows. Family Guy has always been funny since the show started so i choose Family Guy over Simpsons.

Simpsons is fun and pokes fun at the U.S.. Family Guy is lame. Only thing I sometimes like there is Stevie and Brian.

You called Stewie, Stevie....Simpsons have been milked for all they are worth. Nothing they present now is fresh, or even in any sense funny, but when it is, it's just nowhere near the hilarity of Family Guy.Family Guy is so random, you just can't ever expect what will happen by the end of an episode. I haven't watched one episode of that show where I haven't laughed. I can watch many episodes of Simpsons and not even smile, it's really that bland now, which kind of sucks since they were really good.

The random humor is so choice, its not so random its just idodic yet its random enough to keep you guessing throughout the whole episode. In other comedy's its hard to find one solid joke that really pushes your buttons while in family guy every episode to date has dozens of quoteable and gutwrenchingly (real word?) hilarious jokes, flashbacks and skits that leave you on the verge of tears with laughter.Family guy is truly the greatest animated comdey ever, the old episodes are the best but the new ones are still pretty good. As great as the simpsons is it simply pales in comparison to family guy. :drool:

I'd have to say Simpsons... just. Simpsons I think has more clever jokes. Family guy has a few too many sexual innuendoes

They are both excellent cartoons. Family Guy tends to be faster paced. But the Simpsons has paved the way for other cartoons. Plus, the Simpsons has Itchy & Scratchy, which is the best cartoon within another cartoon.
