the hardest boss to beat is Jecht/Somekinda Aeon, anyway i had my players maxed up to max level max strength and everything and he could still have won with a breeze... hes hardest to beat in all the ff games...

Omega Weapon, on final Fantasy 8, I have never had any bad guy harder, and omegal on FFV is not the toughest boss on the game, the toughest boss on the FFV is some bad guy in a chest in the void before you fight the last boss.. but still Omega weapon was so hard, because you had to have luck and be able to predict when he was going to use his attack that kills everyone on your team no matter how powerfull they are because it takes away more than 9999hp and that's all you can have. and by luck I mean have rinoa have a random attack of invicible moon. but yes I believe he's the hardest boss on any final fantasy game invented. makes omega on FF1 for GBA and FFV for Snes look easy. (not to mention the mattle took me 45 minutes to beat him)and if you have the tough ring on final fantasy 7, and you have cloud with the correct Matiria, both those weapons are a walk in the park. I beat them both without having cloud loose any energy on emeraled. and only 300 on the ruby

Hoo boy. Aeon Jecht at the end of Final Fantasy X. I must have gotten my butt kicked by him fifty times before I finally beat him, and even then it was pure dumb luck; he did an attack that should have killed all of my characters, but it left Tidus with 30-something HP, and he delivered the killing blow.And if Kingdom Hearts counts (since it is kinda spliced with Final Fantasy), Kurt Zisa. I swear, I had an easier time beating Sephiroth (in KH) than this guy. >_< He was freaking insane.

For OMEGA Weapon, I had an easy time with him, since I only used three characters throughout the game, then started raising the others when I got Jumbo Cactuar and his bonus abilities.Jecht and Kurt Zisa were pretty easy as well for me.I would say Ozma for FFIX. He attacks 4 times in a row, and you don't have Omnislash or Lionheart to save the day.

I have FFX at home but never bothered to play it so I wouldn't know about Seymour... Shinryuu/Omega Weapon from FFV maybe? =/FFVII had KotR which made Ruby and Emerald Easy...FFVIII had Hero Drinks and Selphie's limit so meh...Nothing that hard in FFIX...So I guess it'll be back in the old ones >.>' I'll say Omega Weapon in FFVIII if you say no Hero Drinks or Selphie's limit

If not for the Ninja and Sage classes, it would've been the final boss of FF3j since it was such a long road to get to it. That's still the only FF game to date that I've ever HAD to use an Elixer. All others I've never used one ever.-- Kaine

i think it was the omega weapon from final fantasy 8... it has so many attacks that do a whole lot of damage and even one 1-hit ko attack

neither seph or the final boss from ff9 were hard...actually, none of the "bosses" were hard. The most difficult monsters to fight would have to be any of the weapons. Maybe even some monsters like those little fuzzy looking things in ff9 that give you a lot of exp points. But seph, seymour, any other boss for that matter was never hard to beat.

hmm... dun tink i will live long enuff to kill ruby in ff7....juz dun seem rite anione can kill it without gameshrk... lol..mayb im weak...however... its the hardest i ever facedbtw.. zeroumashi... kotr does gd dmg..but it was like juz scratching his back for him...how did u manage to scratch his back till he die????!!

Well, I hear that the dark aeons and penence in FFX International are the hardest, but as I live in America I am obviously unworthy of even getting a chance to face them -_-" so I will have to go with bosses that actually appear in the American versions of the games.Out of every boss I'd say that Emerald Weapon from FFVII is the hardest. Not including optional bosses I'd have to say Ultimecia from FFVIII, I do believe that I would not have beaten her if not for nifty little items called "Holy War"sNot looking a either optional or final bosses (any stage of final boss like final boss 2 out of 5 or 1 out of 3 or 14 out 2325) I'd have to say that it would have to be... oh crud... I can't even remember anything about this boss except sort of where it's found and how annoying it was 
anyway It was is this tall tower in FF (the first one) where every few floors you'd fight an elemental gigas... and then there was some boss at the top floor... the boss himself actually wasn't where the difficulty came in... it was climbing the tower to get to him that was annoying... no save points... you could teleport out to save but you'd have to climb up again... so if you screwed up... anyway he was sorta difficult and if you lost you'd be tempted to utterly destroy your copy of the game

Im goig to go with Ruby weapon, when you say, "hey, whats that?" and the bastard pops out and whups the crap out of you, and tehn you level up to 99 and get the ultimate weaspons and come back,and he STILL whups the crap out of you, then he has my vote.
