I think all of the DS features would be incredible if super-sized. Imagine a laptop sized DS that folded open the same way. With dual touch screens and what not. I think that'd be awesome, but it kind of defeats the purpose of a "hand-held". So, Nintendo got it right the way it is. It's not too small that it's a pain, yet still decently portable.

size issues? nopebut i think they should use the plastic material they used for the original gameboy.... for my nostalgic purposes :black:imagine the size of the DS if the stylus was a jumbo pencil..... we call that the PSP XD

I think it should be a bit bigger, because not only youngsters use DS , some elderly person also use them , and if is bigger , people with poor eye-sight can get to see it better.

What's the point of making Nintendo DS bigger? You can still see the games you play on it perfectly, so why should there be change in size? If the DS gets any bigger, it'll probably be the size of a wii, and we don't want that.

The DS is the same size as a GBA (not the SP version) besides Nintendo made a DS Lite so they obviously think the same thing.

Well, laptops and ds's, albeit both are able to play games, are two totally different things. Neither one should affect how you use the other. I have a 15 inch laptop before I got the DS (DSi actually) and I had no issues with using either of them afterwards.

I think the Nintendo DS, DS lite, and my Nintendo DSi are perfect size. They are the exact perfect size for a hand held game system. unless you trulley want to lug aorund a hand held gaming system thats the size of an x-box.

i think it's a good size, but my daughter thinks it should be bigger, maybe she doesn't realize the convenience of portability ( she is only 7 years old).

weel, i think that it is the right size cause the people that plays ds are young and if it's too big they won't play and nintendo won't make profit

I think the DS phat is big enough as it is. Nintendo seems to think so too with the production of the DS Lite. Sooo... no big.

The DS seems to be big enough for regular users. Making it bigger would make it too hard to carry around. Plus, any bigger would make it as big as those little laptops.

The DS size is good, without complains, it's fine. (A big DS won't fit in pockets, hehehe) <_<

honestly, the NDS (i believe you're talking about the first one) was too heavy for me. size wasn't really a problem. But that's probably because i have weak hands XD a bigger screen would be nice, yes, but i like the size decrease that came with the NDS lite.
