Are there two?The first one happens in chapter 9 where you get to go to 1 of two villages. The one on the left makes you go to route A, the one on the right makes you go to route B.The second one happens kinda throughout (but affects chapters 17-20) It depends if Thany + Tate's level is higher or lower than Shin + Sue. If the pegasi, then Illia, if nomads, then Sacae.

Elincia's uncle in Renning. During Path of Radiance (PoR), he was known as Bertram of the 4 Riders. This happened I think because he had memory loss after being attacked by Daein at the beginning of the story and Ashnard valued him as a powerful warrior, so he took this opportunity to take control of him in a sense.
