not a bad game there are a couple of things i don't like but overall not a bad game, not sure if I like the first or second better.

Zach, just look for help at gamefaqs. I like this game WAY better than the first one save for the weapon smithing. It sucks that you have to deystroy them and rebuild them. It means there can be one time only weapons, which I don't like. I love the game still, but haven't beaten it. I like the story and characters way better too.

meh...i just have the same opinion as everyone else....preety good game but I just HATE the stupid weapon smithing....=/ pfft weapon bases suck

I been playing the game for about a day, and I dont find the new smithing too bad it adds to the challange but I find Fishing a lot worse then anything in the game.... 
and the fact that you HAVE to fish to get something you need.....Is Very Annoying why couldnt they have just added it as a mine game for fun or somthing

Wow, This game is ALOT different from the first one, I kinda like the story so far but not really the forging, but I just started so it might get better.

yes i just got it and it's really fun except for the smithing, but it's really hard which adds to the "likeness" lvl to the game

I got it a while ago and its pretty cool, but like most RPGs there are large periods of dialouge - and a lot of it can be meaningless!The story is pretty cool though, and the dungeon areas are more interesting and varied.

the prologue was just TOO DAMN LONG, but the rest of the game made up for it. Unfortunately I had planned on playing through with different guardian beasts(I picked Dinah the first time. I was somewhat hoping she'd be more like sugar from the first game I guess) and I'm not sure I want to really go through that long intro again. So for now I'm doing the extra dungeons after you beat the game, which are proving to be fairly challenging. I had a hell of a time beating the blue robot boss in factory B at level 52.

This game is better than its prequel mainly because it had more features.But the repetitive factor's still there.

If you continually smith your weapon and dismantle it, you can get IMBA stats.I have an ethereal sword with 230 attack.Made it by constructing good weapons with 'buyable' items i.e. those avaialbe from the fisherman, training them to 255 TEC then dismantling them and starting again.

The weapon smithing system was kind of evil espicially you will only have about 1 sword in the end other than that this game was cool.

That's easy! You just simple use Axe with Jump Attack to chop it down. ^^Don't try to kill the bugs, ignore them.Im stuck on the big first plant boss. O.0
