I liked Maria from SotN, too bad her role were that short, because the character seemed interesting. And for a more protagonic character, Harle from Chrono Cross even had a better role than the protagonist, Kid.

My fav would be a final fantasy character too! I don't really know which one is the best, but overall, Rinoa does it for me. She wasn't only good in battle but her pixels are hot!

Resident evil 2 being one of my all time fave PS1 games, I'll have to go with Claire Redfield!Other notable mentions go out to Rydia from FF4, Ayla from Chronotrigger, Samus Aran, Taki from Soulblade, governor Elaine Marley from monkey island and Elvira (old skool days!).But the 2 most prominent female videogame characters of all time? Kerrigan and SHODAN.

i m all out for tifa be cz of the good figure she has hehe actually i like strong fighting girls that need no protection except from the ones they love be cz girls like this are colser to reality doesn't mean i despise soft gentle girls but TIFA!!
