DSL buttons are preferable to me but way too close. The DSP is better in terms of button durability.

Hmm... I can't really say for sure, since none of my buttons have broken. I would have to say the ds feels more durable than the dslite buttons, but the dslite dpad feels sloppy imo.

DSL has the buttons too close for me. Maybe I just have big hands.

There are certain touch screen protectors that are pretty reliable. For example, Play-Asia has a touch screen protector item in stock developed by Hori, and from I hear, it's very durable and non-intrusive as long as you adhere it correctly.

I have smaller hands, and the DS Lite is my much preferred NDS. The original looks clunky and the screen is so dark in comparison to my DSL.Verdict: DSL, hands down.

I just sent in my DSL to get the L+R buttons replaced. They lasted about 10 months of moderate/heavy play and my DSL spent a lot of time in my pocket.I had to send it to Nintendo to get fixed (no other places are authorized to fix it according to Nintendo.com).

I don't think it makes a difference... they both seem about the same to me.

I think the DS buttons are better. My friend has a 8-months DSL and mine is 13-months. Mine has fallen lots of times (maybe 50 or more) and my friend's only twice. And his R button don't works well!

I feel that the DSL has better look, feel, and the light makes it so you can play in more places. Very Convienient.

Personally, I think the ds buttons work better because the R and L buttons sometimes get screwed up or get sticky on the dsl for some reason and the other buttons make a click which I like since i know the game responds, unlike the dsl.

I really kill video game controller buttons. I want to know if the DS Lite has more durable control pad/face buttons than the original DS. For example, the GBA buttons had more "give" than the SP did. Does the DSL have more "give" than the DS? Also, is there anything I can buy that can preserve the touch screen? Thanks.

id say the original is betta

I don't think it makes a difference... they both seem about the same to me.

nah original is better

i wnat to buy a ds or dsl witch should i take do you guys think?

ds is way cooler
