I believe my first FF game was Final Fantasy 9 but after that i bought all of the previous ones from 8 down to tactics.

If you ask me, then the first Final Fantasy game i've played is Final Fantasy Tactics Advance which is on GBA 
, but I wasn't interested in Final Fantasy when it was still on the PlayStation. 
After that I jumped straight to FFXII on PS2

My first one was Final Fantasy x. If Kingdom Hearts counts, then that's it. But, I really don't like FF.

FFX was my first final fantasy and RPG that i played. Thanks to that game, rpg's have made their way into my list of games to play since i never played them before ffx.

The first FF game I played was FFIV. A friend of mine introduced me to it and every since then I've been addicted to the FF series.

my first was final fantasy 7.... and it's not actually great! being a prototype for square's upcoming 3d games, it was a bit boring... to many dull moments and the soundtracks suck... hehehe yet i still played it!

The first was Final Fantasy 7. When I first brought it, I played it for about 2 hours, and got bored.Then, after a few months or so, I had nothing else to play, so i played FF7. Got past the 2 hour point, and just got addicted to rpg games ever since. (dam you squaresoft/enix!)
