my first FF game was FF 7, and i think it is still the best FF game in the series with the best story...

my first was FF8 and i loved it.. couldn't stop playing it!!! i think i played it for half a year before purchasing FF7 and then continue on with the rest of the series

well you dont have FF 10 on this poll thats the only one I have played and everyone said it sucked but I liked it

the first i played was 7 but my mom said i couldn't play it after the first time for some reason then i played 10 the graphics were amazing for the time

The first one I played was VIII.It remains my favorite because of the story, and because I've never played VII, and my copy of VI takes too long to load.

I'm American, but strangely the first Final Fantasy I played was Final Fantasy V. My friend across the street had a Super Famicom (his older brother could read Japanese) so we messed around with it. It was fun despite not being able to read it, but that didn't bother us, as we hadn't learned to read English yet, and we were used to having other people occasionally doing the reading for us when playing games. After that, I went on to play tactics, then 7, then 1, then 4, then 3, then 6, then mystic quest, then 8, then 9, then 10, then 2, then crystal chronicles, and finally 12.

My first was FF5, then FF6. I don't remember why but they where on the same disc case thing. :| Then 7, a little bit of 8 (disc 2 broke), a little bit of 9 (got bored) and 10 and 12 and oh, Tactics, except I can't remember when.

I`ve startet playing Final Fantasy when the first Emulators were out. I couldn´t afford to buy a SNES and i had a PC all allong so it was a good thing to make an Emulator besides i live in Germany and the Game was never inthe Stores i visited so... . Until today ive played the parts till 10 and it was quite fun at all

FF Tactics was my first one, I wanted to rent FF7 when it first came out, but the idiot at the store gave me FFT on accident.I might have actually played 2/4 first, I don't remember.

sad to say, the first time i ever played Final fantasy (or even heard of it) was when i got a psx demo disk through PSX magazine (way back in the day before ps2 was ever made/advertised) and it had ff8 on it. So I guess you can say the first FF game i ever played was FF8 demo...
