nine.It was very good, took time to finish it... After that i played ten, then i found seven, then all through 1-6, then 8. But nine was first,

well it was 8 but i was shown it more than played it but my favourite will always be iv i mean so many people suicide and die in it how can you not like it!!!

My First one was FF8 And is one of my favorites out of the series, maybe its because of that, I don't know but I just love the storyline.

FF7 for the PS1. I didn't like it very much, and really haven't tried any more. Might pick up the one for the Wii when it comes out thoughWhich Final Fantasy was the first one you played? Mine was Tactics.

I just voted.So Typical that EVERYONE started on 7.It was the time when PS games were few and This game had promise.I myself started on 3, way back on the SNES. (which is known as 6 in America)Personally, 3 was about 10x better than any other one I've played so far, but 13 looks promising. If you've never played 3, and need a good story line, it's defiantly worth picking up, and Gameplay only takes about 30-40 hours if played correctly and you don't waste a lot of time with over-training.

The first Final Fantasy game I played was FF1 on the NES. I feel old 'cause it's not on the polls.

FF7!!!!! Oh man what a story too. I first heard/saw it from the CGs and whatnot, where it actually looks like a fully 3D animated game. Keep in mind this was years after it came out, so such graphics in games were possible. I then dled and started playing it, and of course my first reaction was ".... god the graphics suck! Gah! I feel cheated!" Then I kept playing.... and playing.... and got hooked @_@

wow only a few people played the first one lol i played 1, then 2,3,VII,final fantasy adventure II, VIII,Mystic quest,IX,X,X-2,and then XII,Final fantasy Legends i and 2, and adventure 1

FF8 is the first and the best i had every played. It has damn nice music ( Eyes on me ) and have nice storyline
