I actually played FFX first, but my first FF to play on the original PS was FFVII.

FF8. Borrowed it off a mate so my PS1 was actually worth something, lol. Lost the fourth disk though, dammit..

I first played FF8 which then launched me into a final fantasy frenzy. Played almost everyone thats out there. Im starting ff12 too.

I first played Final Fantasy Tactics and after that I've played all Final Fantsy games (on PSX and snes)>>I can't play in FFX and FFXII becouse I don't have PS2... too bad

Assuming the question is only for the Playstation. ;[ Final Fantasy Tactics was the first I played. The best for the PS1 of course. ;]However if it's on any system, I started with Final Fantasy on the NES, then Mystic Quest, and Ive now played every FF title :] including Adventures, Legends and the Chocobo Dungeon games.

That would be FF8. This game make me fall in love with the FF series. LOL. But for some reasons, FF8 still remains on my fav list so far.

The first Final Fantasy I played was the one on the original nintendo. That is the one that got me hooked on the series. I have played them all now, but that one brings back such good memories. But I still think 6 is the best.

In order of first played: FFIV, FFVI, FFMQ, FF1, FFII, FFV, FFVII, FFVIII, FFIX, FFX, FFT, FFTA, FFX-2, and finally FFXII.

I started out with FF6 and later got interested in Chrono Trigger which was rather similar to FF6. Later on went on to the PS1 FFs starting with 8 then 7 and 9.

I think the first Final Fantasy game I ever played was Final Fantasy VII. One of my friend's brothers had it when I was younger, and that's when I played it. It more or less spawned a love for RPG games within me. XD

Final fantasy 9 was the first one i played, after that comes 7,8 and so on. I like 9 most mainly coz its set in medieval time.

I have played Final Fantasy before. I forgot what number it was though. I remember Squall (I think that was his name) in it, the guy with the scar on his face and his weapon was a huge gun sword. It was pretty fun and the graphics was nice.
