i left my on for two weeks and then it wouldnt turn on for like a month, but that was two years ago and its worked since. ive had mine for 4 or 5 years now i guess.

Worked for 3 or 4 years, then I gave it away. Pretty sure it still works to this day.

i got mine the christmas of the year it came about so thats a long coupla years. still going strong! just my controllers die after about 2 years....

Mine lasted about a year until one Thanksgiving, my naughty cousin pulled on the controller too hard and it fell off the shelf. The Gamecube could turn on, but it could not read the discs

well my gamecube didn't last long it lasted about 2 years and my baby brother and sister broke it

I had never had a problem with my Gamecube, perhaps you should keep it on a place wre dust can't damage the laser.

Mine's been working for 3 years and it's still going, event though sometimes it seems to rush or it bugs. Mainly it works pretty well.
