ive had mine since it came out and it hasnt broken oncewhich is really weird cause i know people who have had theres about a year and its broken

How long you say? I don't even play it anymore! I sold all my games for gamecube and whatever my gamecube is doing now is collecting dust! ROFL

My Gamecube lasted around 5 years until the power cord for my Cube burnt out recently so I have to find myself a new one from EB Games hopefully. As for the hardware, my Cube is in pretty good condition. It would have gone for much longer if the power cord did not go out.

I've had my gamecube since they first came out and the only problem I've ever had was the laser going out. It cost me just about as much as your repair did but my cube has being going strong ever since. I think perhaps that they could've selected better, longer lasting lasers for the gamecube but i can't help but love mine.

My Game Cube is around six or seven years old and it's still working perfectly! I don't ever want to throw it out. D:

Mine broke recently, but I got another. I think I left it on for too long. It would explain how I accumulated 160 hours of game time on TP!

Yeah, My cousin wouldn't have bought his second if it weren't for his dog. It broke it man! one lovely day we're playing and the dog ran towards the controller's wires and made it fall.. It broke beautifully :DMy super nes still works... it's unbreakable! it's been lasting for more than 10 years now.. Whoa ! Pretty nice quality huh? The older the better.

I don't get why people don't keep their game systems down lower. I mean, it's not like the floor is gonna catch fire and besides, they're much safer where they can't get knocked down.

lol had mine for 3 years now n NO problem watsoeva with it....its a different thing that i play it once in a millenium lol...bt nah....i rekon its pretty gud....cause me no trubs!!!

i had mine for only a year. it never broke, but my bro sold it at gamestop and thought the wii would release in july when i clearly said it would release in november
