It lasted until I sold it.Until then it worked fine.

Mine got struck by lighting. It was horrible. Even with that thing that protects them from power surges. Long story short, no, it doesn't work now. I just borrow my friend's.

it had a disc reading problem but now it's fixed. it's still lasting up until now and it's been 4 years i think.

Mine lasted 3 or 4 years, but now it can barely read discs, so I just use my wii.

mine never broke. my brother who is 11 had it about 7 or 8 years in a row and it still did not brake

I got mine pre-owned and it works perfectly. I find that Nintendo makes their products stronger than expected. Maybe because they are the most family oriented of the gaming companies so they have to compensate for five year olds.

It's sad that my Orginal Nintendo outlasted my Gamecube. IMO, with all the system failing left & right - Nintendo should have offered free repair kit and only charge for freight. I've had two go out on meheyok how many ppls gamecubes have broken after the year warrenty expired?in mine my laser (somehow) is crooked and its gonna cost me 75 bucks to fix it (-_-)
