ha i bought mine in like 2002 and it's just fine, but lately, it sometimes shuts itself off and won't turn back on for a while any of u guys have the same problem? lol but otherwise mine is just fine

The laser broke after 2 1/2 years. cost about 20 dollars in the Netherlandsheyok how many ppls gamecubes have broken after the year warrenty expired?in mine my laser (somehow) is crooked and its gonna cost me 75 bucks to fix it (-_-)

Still going strong! Only the power box died on me. I had to get another one. I have my, I think, 5th one now, and it works. Still working

i had mine for 3 years but i dont use it much, and i've noticed the lids spring is going wanky. It doesnt fell right when u push it, and it works only most of the times.

Yeah, how DO you break a gamecube? By accidentally dropping a hammer on it? :|My cube is still alive and kicking after... I don't even know how many years. I've had no problems at all.

mine's still perfectly fine after 5 years. I haven't heard of them breaking much either. but anway, you can get gamecubes now for like $20 at stores like Gamestop.

oh you so shouldn't pay it. You can buy a "new" used cube at a gamestore for like 40-50 bucks.mine lasted a year or two. I've had mine since the silver ones came out. It broke because someone sliced my lens out with a knife, but my uncle fixed it in a few hours, so I consider it never broken. To be truly broken, it must be broken for at least 48 hours. After that, forget it, you can't consider it as not broken anymore.

I've had mine since the Smash Bros. bundle was released, and it stopped working about a week after I got a Wii (a few weeks ago.) I'm pretty sure it's the laser, and I'm still debating on weather or not to fix it.

mines still works, if you didn't see that X=Play clip when they were testing out each consule's durability, game cube wins.
