I went through 5 in 9 months, I left them on all the time, first bc i didn't have a mem card, then bc I was a lazy ass. motor burns out, leave it off for a day or two and don't leave it on for 5+ hours after. Those ers were built SOLID i dropped one out of a car and it smashed into the step on the side of the car and onto the driveway and worked fine

Ive been using mine as a small night stand for quite some time. Sometimes I eat food off of it. For a console it works well as a door-stopper as well. Just recently I fired it up, and what do you know, it still works.

I got mine not long after launch and it still works. I have to clean the laser lens every once and awhile but it still works like a charm.

My gamecube is still good because I havn't been playing any games on it for like a year

I bought mine a little after the first arrival and have not had any problems except with my Action Replay disc just dying on me for no reason. That still frustrates me.

I still have a Platinum Silver one, it's in mint condition, I play it often and I do play my DS also. I wipe it whenever there are stains or something.Nothing is broken on my GameCube.

I bought mine 2 months before the Wii came out (I got the Wii that christmas), and I have to say, I'm still thinking its a great purchase. It works in the car, and mario party 8 is fun for the times when we have to drive the van up to my brothers college and him and his girlfriend want to play a game
