mine wouldnt load ac or mgs for a while, the laser thingy usually got stuck or something.. so i simply push it to the center when needed, give the disc a quick spin and voila, after that, its been holding up :]havent gone back in a while, but im sure hes fine. time for him to retire, and have that rest he so rightly deserves x3

dont bother, its not worth it. just think of all the ways you could break it and crush it

Way to go, you just replied to a two year old post. That is some sense of timing you have there. :gs: Anyways, I bought my GC on launch day and it still works fine. I even have the ethernet adapter and Gameboy Player on mine. Not that it matters much if it works now since I can play all the games on my Wii.

Mine works perfectly fine, and I've had is since around 2001. Of course, I just use my Wii for GC games now.

Mine still works even now! And while I do have a Wii and can play Gamecube games on that, I much rather prefer to play games on their original format. So, my Gamecube is still plugged in. And as far as three days ago, it still works!

The laser went through a rough patch towards the end, but it fixed itself and we had a mutual breakup when I got my Wii.It was nothing personal, GC, and now you bring joy to someone else, or parts for a Wii.
