heyok how many ppls gamecubes have broken after the year warrenty expired?in mine my laser (somehow) is crooked and its gonna cost me 75 bucks to fix it (-_-) :(

Had mine since the month it was released, but I haven't really played it THAT much. Never had a console break on me though :(

I got mine the day it launched and it still works. Granted I haven't used it much the last two years, but it still works.

why gamecube is still alive now its gone i sold it to get a wii and the games to get the wii farewell goodbye mr. gamecube hello mr. Wii now we can play with u all day.

only a month, i throw mines at a wall because the controls for a game were p!ss!ng me off so i just pick it up and throw it ( i know, im an idiot)

Mine still works fine, even after dropping it several times. I would say you might as well save up and get a Wii, since it plays GC games. You're spending $75 anyways, might as well put the extra in for the new system.

Mine is still strong :D Never had a problem with the Game Cube. well the wires that hooks the GC to the TV broke... but I used the N64 one <_<

Mine is still working perfecly the only thing is that the flap for the memory card is kind of crooked but it does't make any difference.

My GameCube lasted all five years, since its release up till now. I heard the GameCube is very durable. It was thrown down about 7 feet without breaking.

Mine still works...kind of, anyway. It has trouble reading some of the games, though, and for whatever reason, the second memory card slot doesn't read the memory card.

I don't know how long it really lasted as I haven't played it in months. I haven't gotten any games worth playing for it recently.EDIT-- From the times I've played it though, I'd say 4-5 years. --EDIT
