Thats a tough one, I would say New Super Mario Bros. by just a hair over Mario Kart.

Yoshi island is my choice, I perfer plaformer than racing. In term of platformer, yoshi island is even better than new mario brothers.

i really like Mario 64, because i never played it on Nintendo 64.also, mario Vs Donkey is really great, something like Lemmings.And mario Kart is a classic !!!
