For me, it's a tie netween Mario 64 DS and Mario Kart.

I never really liked Mario 64 even on the n64. I'd have to go with the new super mario bros even though it was a bit easy.

For me, Super Mario 64 DS is the best....with Mario Kart DS a close second....these games really brought spirit and fun to the DS

mario kart DS is great but I really enjoyed new super mario brothers more. Both games are great fun, but getting a new mario old school was really great.

The best Mario Game for DS is New Super Mario Bros! I've it with action replay and this is funny 
.Graphics are awesome with sperposition 2D/3D, the difficult isn't too easy but not too difficult, we have the choice between luigi and mario, there are mini games...This is really the best mario game for DS

Yoshi's island was pretty good, if tht counts as a mario game. I think it does, since mario is in it.
I completely agree. But some mario game people dont consider it a real mario game. But then again some people consider dr mario a REAL mario game. IDK.No way, the best mario game for the ds has to be is yoshi island (if u consider that a mario game)

The best game for the DS would be Partners in Time. Not only does it defy the structure of Mario games by being an RPG, but it has great creative gameplay and refreshing graphics. Definitely different than any other Mario game out there, and still the best.

i would say mario cart because to me it doesn't seem to have an "end". It's replayable and doesn't really get boring if you go on wi-fi unlike new super mario bros. That game just gets boring after several completionist runs

It depends what kind of game you mean. If it is any mario game than I would pick mario kart DS. For classic mario I would choose New Super Mario Bros.
