It depends how you play. If you build up a strong team, or only use one pokemon (normally a starter), it's hard to get beaten. It all depends on how you play really.

If you want to complete every single possible thing within the game, as I do, then it provides a slight challenge. But yes, they are easy games.

yes pokemon gets a bit easy after you pass the game twice or thrice.anyways its also boring.

The hard parts are the mazes and the training. Imagine playing without any guides. I don't think there's anyone who will disagree with me.

It is very easy if you play in game, but if you play against other people, it can be hard. There are way to make it harder, such as monotype teams (make a team that consists of one type).

Pokemon easy? hmmmm, well yes indeed, you just need to raise the lvl of your Pokemon for beating easy the bosses and that`s all

The games are boring. Training takes time and after u lvl them like heck, they pown all the trainers. So, it boring and easy

The game seems just right for the target audience. I do wish it was more difficult though. The strategy the game offers only goes so far. You choose your Pokemon, that's great. But the battles are so linear and simple that it poses no hardships throughout the game. I don't blame the developers though, if children got stuck in a Pokemon game because their character's weren't strong enough yet, they would be likely to stop playing.

Well, I don't think there's a way to lose at Pokemon.. It's REALLY easy if you know what to do. And of course, it's not that difficult finding out what to do. Some of the puzzles require thought, but none of them are extremely difficult.

Back when I used to play it (years agooooo) i thought it was actually hard. But then now if I replay it, I think I can go through the entire game in like a day or two.

I agree that the Pokemon series are a bit easy for us seasoned gamers, but if you look at the target audience and the hype it gets from the TV series and from the TCG, then you have to admit, Nintendo has got a really good staple for its own battles.

If you play pokemon for the first time, it'll be kinda hard, since you don't know where to go or what to do yet. But play at least 5 different pokemon games...It's a whole different story. The normal pokemon games are still a little fun, they just get more boring when you get the same lvl 100 stuff.

Pokemon is one of those games where you can't lose. And you can just keep training on lower pokemon and get higher and higher levels. Because of these two things pokemon becomes a game that is easily beatable.
