the r/s/e versions are easy but the remake of the red and green are a bit hard eventhough i already played the original version weay back when it was first released

I've always played the first run-through of any Pokemon game by over-leveling the water starter. No Pokemon game has ever been too hard for me.

It is easy, regardless of the version. But the only thing is it is very time consuming. and I often find it start to get bored after 10-12 hours.

how can you say it's easy? is it easy to make your pokemon lvl 100 on a gameboy?is it easy to catch a feebas on a gameboy?is it easy to beat battle tower in the gameboy?those questions will make you say that pokemon is not an easy game, unless you played pokemon on an emulator.

yes it is very easy to play thats why its so fun for noobies to play but still a great rpg.

First time through, the games are hard, if only for the fact that you didn't have a balanced team (I couldn't kill that sodding Alakazam that Gary had at the end. I also didn't bother getting an electric pokemon). Second time round, you'll remember not to screw up when you're getting pokemons for your team, and you'll remember where everything is so you don't get lost out in the wild.

in my opinion, pokemon is pretty easy especialy if you have been playing ewver since the red,yellow, and blue period. The gameplay is basically the same with the addition of new features and areas... and i train till im level 20 b4 going to the first gym.. so it's pretty tiem consuming

its quite easy and fun! 
just needs patience.. i had a game where none of my pokemon died.,. BUT. it took me like days and days just to level up and train my pokemon so they dont die in battles!

Its more like boring as well as easy. All the training. Then when u beat the elite four, its training to complete ur pokedex. Yes, very boring

Yeah, it's an easy game alright. It's just time-consuming, and damned annoying most of the time. I mean, those random battle encounters can get really annoying half the time. I honestly was about to punch the screen when I kept getting random battles like two seconds after the last one.
