it really depends. if the the game is somewhat "old-school" like red, blue, yellow...gold/silver, expect:-bad graphics-some weird glitchesif this isn't the right expectations for those games, I myself is really troubled.if it's the newer ones (ruby...pearl) it may be easy because you can trade and interact more with friends.it also depends on your pokemon. if you have only fire pokemon (arcanine, rapidash, charizard, magcargo...), you'll easily be decimated by a water, ground or rock type trainers.or its level, if your up against a trainer whose pokemon's levels are two times much more than yours, you can just hope for luck (critical hits, flinch etc.)the games average for me of course (it's up to you what your's are) is: "old" kanto: 50/100johto:89-Crystal,70-othershoenn:96-emerald,92-ruby/sapphiresinnoh (pearl and diamond (sorry, not sure spelling):100-i already played some...I also like digimon...if any questions about digimon, don't hesitate to ask.-201201

not really............u need some brains for this..........u can have only 6 pokemon out of which each can learn only 4 moves and advisably HMs also..............you need to cover types well with that........You need brains and planning and experience to raise such a team of pokemon that is strong and does not have any type weaknesses...........It gives ur brain a little tweak....u need some strategy u know....

i think pokemon is too easy cause u just have to battle silly trainers(whose Pokemon's level wont be even near my Pokemon's leve)and then gym leaders(who are amateurs) and last but not the least the league(not bad but not good too)

Its not really difficult and the series has been getting easier, but its still an easy game to get sucked into and enjoy. Especially the satisfaction of catching every Pokemon or training your team to level 100 with a killer move set :D

in my opinion pokemon gets harder each time it comes out. from what ive seen pokemon firered is the hardest because once you get to the elite four they really get to you it took me a while to train and get past them but fire red is the hardest to me

The first Elite Four in Red/Blue featured level 50-70 Pokemon first time. Fire Red had double Elite Four which was cool, but you were usually strong enough to destroy them the second time round because they had like lv40 pokemon first time round. Easy exp. Also, Victory Road was more of a puzzle and getting through Mystery Cave without a map was....hard.

Well I think it depends on you pokemon and how do you raise it, becasu if you go to the finals with leves 40 you may suffer, but if you go there with leves 50+ you don`t have any problem... so as I said it dependes on how do you raise you pokemos...

What do you have to back that up? Let me remind you that the anime and the game are independant.

It is easy when you overpower your Pokemon by training them a lot and raising their levels.

Underleveled is making it moderate. Being at the same level is easy. Overleveled is too easy. There really isn't alot of strategy against the computer since they all suck. However, against other people is where the game shines the most.

too easy because the trainers are weak and the game is easy but it took one month too pass the elite four so it is too easy.

Its easy but its also kind of challenging.Pokemon are always at different levels and therefore have different outcomes of battle.

Well, that depends. I think Red/Blue/Yellow were way too easy. However, I had incredible difficulty in Gold/Silver/Crystal and Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald. Likewise, Fire Red/Leaf Green were easy.
