ffx all the way...ffxii got too repetitive with the battles...programmed the chars so that all that was left needed doing was to walk around...

12 was way better. 10 had a cast of annoying characters that I couldn't even stand using half the time, and was way too linear. I didn't think the story was all that great, kinda corny really. Don't get me wrong though, 10 had some good moments and was at least somewhat entertaining, but not as much as 12. 12 at least had alot of extras and unlike most people, I didn't have any problems with getting the gambit system to work the way I wanted it to. It also had a vastly more interesting story in my eyes and the main cast was a little less 2D-ish this time around.There's alot more that I could say about either of the two games, but then I'd just be rehashing older posts by other people. ;o

I prefer the story of the 10, I was not really amazed by the story of 12, but when it comes to gameplay and graphics are much better on the 12, but since I am a guy who could not care less about graphic if the story is good then I prefer the 10, but the 12 is great too .

12 has a more interesting story, better graphics, more interesting characters, etc.Both have different types of stories, 10 was more about perception, death, and all that coming to terms nonsense whereas 12 was more of a classic war story, and IMO was much better written and voice-overed.I liked 12's battle system better as well, even though alot of people didn't like the gambit system. Why? Because most people are too stupid to know how to use it correctly. 10 was just too simple for my taste, and was a bit linear for an FF game, whereas 12 seems so enormous and has alot of side quests, like the hunts.

FFX. It has more soul, and more punsh. Not like the XII how traded story for gameplay.

What are you talking about? There was plenty of story in FF12, it just seems like less because there's so much else to do in that game. Besides, I found FF10's story to be kinda sappy and went for that "pull at the heartstrings" theme. It wasn't all that great. Sure, I liked the game overall, but it could've been better.Also, FF12's voice acting>>>>>>FF10'sAnd for those who keep whining about FF12's battle system; you're idiots, all of you. It's the same thing as the boring turn-based system from all the other FF games except that there's no random encounters, it all happens on one screen. Besides, you can essentially make it like the old FF games by turning all the gambits off and switching it to "wait" mode.But, I guess people are too busy complaining about it to realize any of this.Also, some people don't like FF12 because you can make all your characters essentially the same both ability and stat-wise, but you can do the exact same thing with FF10's sphere grid.
