Hmm, I tried playing XII but, it was both hard, and the gameplay itself wasn't that good... actually, it sucked, coz... who needs licenses to equip equipment...? At least it could've been like a Sphere Grid like in X... hmm, as I think of it, XII feel fun, but when I think of the license part, the fun is gone lol... for X, I enjoyed it, I maxed out my Auron, Tidus, and Yuna, their attacks (Even Yuna) dealt 9999...I prefer X over XII...

FFXII has a decent storyline, awesome graphics, the gameplay is simpler in some ways, it's harder for you to go game over (equally harder to level up) and takes much longer to play it 100% through than FFX did. However, I do prefer FFX for some strange reason, it just hooked me better than XII has and I look forward to BSing in it more than in FFXII.

i like final fantasy 12 so much more than final fantasy 10.the plot moves pretty quickly too.real time fighting and balthier are instant win in my book. :B

FF XII! Have you guys tried the Gilgamesh sidequest? Man, that was one of the coolest battles ever! That made me like FF XII more than FF X

XII was great with the whole set up and scenery and story.X is just as good as it was the first on PS2 thus for setting a trend for the other games that have been released thus far on PS2 even if XII is just the last.

FFX all the way, FFXII just does'nt have the same feeling you get from the other games...and the battle system sucks. Glad that square enix is trashing that system and going along with a new and improved awesome looking one, hopefully it won't disappoint =)

FFX. FFXII was kinda disappointing. FFX was successful enough to spawn its own sequel FX2.

I think that FFX is by far the better game. Yes, XII has some interesting knew systems and that PS2 lmiit-pushing graphics style, but games are supposed to be entertaining, and particularly for RPG's the storyline should be original, and for that I believe X wins.

The battling in 12 is a lot better than in 10. I like less of the characters but the world is pretty nice.The story in 10 wins though and that's what counts in rpgs for me.

FF XII. there's no competition really. Even if X is more traditional there is just way too high levels of SUCK in it. the last good "old" FF is IX for me

It Really depends on if you like linear stories or more open roam games. If you like linear stories and somewhat complicated mechanics get x get XII if you like open roam games.

I really perfer XII. I like the licence board, and the battle system. I think it's an awesome game.

definitely FFXi hated vaan... and penelo... and basch... just because of their clothing...the sphere grid and the blitzball was what made me addicted.

I like both.. For charies, I'd choose X, but for gameplay I'd choose XII, since I don't have to do anything with Gambits x3 I hated Blitzball in X, and I hate nothing about XII.
