Well, I think it's still good because they actually improve from every generation. And it's not really the same. The 1st and 2nd Generation Pokemon games only allows you to have one Pokemon on the field. On the other hand, 3rd Generation and so on, actually lets you sometimes play with 2 pokemon on the field. And some Pokemon from the old Pokemon games, they do not appear on the new gen pokemon games.

it seems like they're even running out of combinations for creative monsters. it's dumb to keep adding mediocre monsters, too...

Pokemon get tedious, there is no plot all they do is build a new map, upgrade graphics and make new items and pokemon. I think they finally realise people will get tired of this

The concepts may be the same, but the characters, pokemon and other things change in each series

I find that true, the game gets extremely dull and the only changes in the pokemon games are the ones for different consoles. I actually wish that they switch it up a little bit, like they did with Mystery Dungeon, but that game for me got dull very quick =\ Things like Gale of Darkness and X D seemed interesting but I don't have a gamecube so I've never played those and don't know what the plot is like. I wonder what it'd be like playing as a Rocket/Magma/Aqua person...

it really depends, they make the game harder and longer to beat everytime. some games are just useless but some games can be addicting. you never know what nintendo can do sometimes =\

NO LIE:But isn't the Pokemon "experience" always just more of the same.Coming from a fan who could barely outgrow this particular phenom:-Every episode of the show, every adventure in every game has been the same old tired bull: Travel to new city and either: find a new monster, befriend and help a "pokemon (fill in the occupation)", or fight with (fill in the advisary),add water and mix.Be it show or game the formula works...Cuz they won't die they jus multiply!

They are all the same, but that's why I like them. Pokemon Mystery Dungeon sucked as far as I'm concerned, it didn't have a story line that I liked. I much prefer the travelling round the map, beating gym leaders and then fighting the elite four. I just like showing off once I do XD

I agree. All Pokemon games have somewhat of the same story but a different setting. Adding new Pokemon wouldn't change the fact that you're doing the same thing in every game.

YeahMost pokemon games revolve around the same story beat 8 gym leaders and then beat pokemon league.after u beat pokemon league u get new places, unknown dungeon,Kanto,Battle Frontier,Its kinda stupid reallyPokemon Mystery dungeon, seems much better.

isn't most games like this they have someone to beat like a rival or kill missions and sometimes when playing racing games you win trophy's like in diddy kong racing all games are somewhat similar especially final fantasy they are all the same except for some moves and a different storyline but most the story lines are really similar
