i would say the master ball but the timer ball is also good becouse its useful when trying to catch basic pokemon but the master ball is good when you don't want to put any effert into catching a pokemon that is just what i think

I just never got what a premier ball and luxury ball did,but Ultra ball is definitely the way to go in normal nonhacked games

Never used a luxury one, but it sounds cool, so that might be my favourite one.Enjoyed using the masterball after like 30 minutes of trying to get a legendary pokemon. So yay at least I got it, even though I had to use the masterall to get it.

i would have to go with one not on the lists and say dusk ball. however, i like the color of the great ball

1) Pokeball (it's a classic)2) Timer Ball (It's really effective)3) Premier Ball (it's the same as the classic)[One other reason why I love standard Pokeballs is because I caught moltres, zapdos and articuno with it

I would have to say that the ultra ball is the best type. They are easily available throughout the game and have a nice catch rate.

I like ordinary Pokeballs, especially when they're used to catch legendary Pokemon. It makes me feel (at least) proud for getting those Pokemon after many attempts.

Masterball tops everything, and I will usually spend hours on end trying to accomplish getting a few masterballs and trading them to one game.

Since I only play at night, i use primarily dusk balls, excellent capture rate and since most legendaries are in caves anyway it works perfectly for them. Quick balls work wonders too since they usually capture on the first toss.

Makes no difference to me, playing pokemon games on visualboy I use the quickload/save buttons, hold the spacebar to speed it all up, save the game at the start of a battle with a pokemon you want to catch (works with any pokemon, legendaries included.) throw a ball, doesn't really matter, poke,great,ultra, don't bother wasting a masterball, there is ALWAYS a chance ANY ball thrown can catch the pokemon straight away first go without breaking free, if it breaks free quickload F1 or whatever key your gamesave is mapped to, repeat again and again until it's caught, job done a little cheap/cheating I know but it's just a tip if you are only bothered about catching it rather than weakening it first and going through all the tedious fight.My masterball usually goes towards capturing the "main" legendary pokemon of the game, you know there is always a lvl. 70 legendary that is hidden somewhere like Mewtwo in mystery cave on red and blue etc. . rayquaza on ruby saphire and. Lugia/Ho Oh on gold and silver. No point keeping the 1 masterball if you aren't gunna use it on that pokemon.Favourite ball is the good old fashioned pokeball! I'll take catching a pidgey in a pokeball anyday over an ultra ball!

Strangely enough, I prefer the normal pokeball. It's cheap and easy to replace.

i prefer dusk balls and the few master balls because i go for legendaries and they have become cave dwellers recently.

Pokeballs plain and simple. Not the most effective (in fact It's probably the worst) ball, but I love it all the same. something about the design and its simplicity and consistence through out the series.

Ultra ball. I mea n they are the ebst other than the Master ball. I have never sued anything other than poke balls, greatballs, ultraballs, and master balls. So I don't know about all those others.

Personally, I prefer the Timer ball. But only in cases where you are strong enough to last awhile. Sometimes it will work like a master ball, but that takes lots of turns. The Ultra ball is next with the Master ball bringing up the rear. The master ball would be my favorite if, and only if, you could purchase them from the store after you beat the game.

The net ball was my favorite because it had a cool animation compared to the others.
