The hardest for me was Pokemon GSC, mainly because I could not beat Claire.

I say Pokemon Emerald or Pokemon Crystal is. Haven't beat Emerald did beat Crystal thou Red was a tough sun of a gun with much higher leveled pokemon

well, its definitely emerald...its has the most tasks in all pokemon games because of the pokemon contests and the battle frontier. it actually has a save type of 128k in an emulator.

I agree. It's not like it was harder to catch the dogs than any other legendary. It was mostly luck to find them then you had to do what you would do anyway.*Shrugs* They all seemed equally as easy. Gold, Silver, and Crystal were just longer, not harder.

Pokemon emerald, becuase it has battle frontier in it, so its longer then fire red and leaf green.

pokemon crystal is the hardest: 16 medals, 2 cities, and to catch ho-ho you have to catch first the 3 legendary dogs

pokemon fire red/ leaf green the story line is too long for pokemon and the elite four is too tough for me anyways.but i couln't resist starting it over and over for new mewtwo's

fire red. because i haven't played the others yet. at least, the roms i downloaded are corrupted and fire red is the only one that worked
wow, is that your pokemons in your signature. my highest is charmeleon at 22. *tut tut* i have just began and i dnt want to use cheats.i think it was either crystal with the extral ragion which i loved or maybe yellow considering the first time i played it it was in jap

well, i think its emerald. i don't consider it hardest actually, but the one with the most objectives to accomplish.

Actually none of the pokemon game is exactly hard to finish. Crystal is the longest. 16 badges, crazy chaze for the legendary dogs...most stuff to do!

definitely the silver/gold/crystal series is the hardest to finish. I can proudly say that I managed all 251 on all three without cheating. I was traded both celebi and mew but later got mew in a glitch.

emerald is the hardest. its the same as ruby/saphirre except... the battle frontier. that is like starting the game over again it has practically the same thing (lati@s[basically the dogs], long adventure, capture pokemon) but with the addition of the battle frontier.

Id say sapphire because ive gotten to about the same point in the game twice but when i try to start up again im totally lost to where im at.
