I think fire red and leaf green would have to be the hardest of the pokemon games to finish

The GSC era were the hardest of the GB/A type games.Overall though Stadium 2 was the hardest for me.

i think that pokemon silver/gold/crystal were the hardest games to finish.

fire red and leaf green. it also depends on what you mean by "finishing" if you just mean "beat the elite 4", then none of them are really hard. but if you mean completing EVERY aspect.... FR+LG all the way. all 386 or whatev pokemon, the islands, plus that guy that gives you the trainer card stickers. it gets rediculous. of course.... using the gameshark built into the VBA...

hrmmmm hardest pokemon to find i remember whn i played red n blue was scyther and kangaskon... even tho u can find in the safari thing but pain to catch =.=

Emerald was hard to beat. Getting all gold badges in the battle frontier takes forever

gold and silver and crystal no doubtyou have those fast lengdaries that run away and use roarand you have to catch two impossoble pokemon exept in the japenese versionsim saying no cheats mew and celebi

Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Red Rescue Team was hard to finish, yeah the storyline took me a week but after when you finally got to level up and stuff, well after Stormy Sea that's when the game got really damn hard

The toughest Pokemon games were Red and Blue because they were the first ones. After that all of the other ones were exactly the same.
