My first system was the Sega Master Sysytem. My favorite part of that thing was that even if you didn't have a cartridge to put in, there was a racing game built into the system itself. Plus: The Ninja, R-Type and Cloud Master. Wish it had some RPGs besides Phantasy Star though.

My first console would be my Sega Gamegear, but it's now broken. The screen somehow stopped working and my dad couldn't fix it. The oldest, yet still functioning console I have is my SNES.

NES! I was so excited to open that present on Christmas. I couldn't believe my eyes, it absolutely rocked my world. I don't even specifically remember the reactions of the rest of my family, i just got so excited and couldn't wait to play Super Mario Brothers/Duck Hunt!

NES when I was about 7. Mario Bro's Duckhunt and Gotcha! were my first games. Unfortunately the NES wore down and I eventually sold in a garage sale to upgrade to the SNES which in turn was sold in a garage sale to upgrade to the 64. Looking back I should have kept it all. But I was young & foolish

The first one we had at home was the Atari 2600, but I was like 6 years old and my brother bought it. The first one that I bought for me was the SNES.

I'm definitely a member of the SNES generation... My first console, complete with Super Mario World. My parents had an NES, but I don't remember anything of playing it that well or much... or anything.

First console I ever played on was the Intellivision. I later got to play on one of those old 1970's pong home games. First one I owned was a used N64 when I was in college. My folks didn't care to spend money on a gaming system when I was growing up, so I had to wait til I had my own income.

My first system was a hand-me-down NES with Super Mario. Good times, good times. Shortly after, though, I got the SNES, which I liked much better (Mario, Kirby, DK, SF2...), so I didn't get much time with the NES.
