Its obviously a straight up RPG. They already have an MMORPG. And besides, everyone knows this because they do research instead of asking ignorant questions.

I've played just about every final fantasy game, and to be honest, the one I liked the least was final fantasy 11: the one that was purely online, meaning there could really be no story line since there were a million other players doing the same thing. Final Fantasy has always been known for their awesome story lines and they should stick pure to their formula.

Straight up RPG, I don't want to do any of this Online Multiplayed stuff, I'd rather go through a some-what linear plot, and build a major bond with the characters, that's just my opinion though.

I would see why SE would likely make 13 a RPG game. But it would be cool if it is an online game.

well i think Final fantasy series have always have that thing in single playing.. everyone in final fantasy world seems to be so alive without them being real people.. so thats how i like it.. ^^

lol i agree.. plus if it was like an mmorpg it would kinda mess up the gameplayplus playing w/ 5 million copies of me isnt to my best interestI think it should be offline RPG. It would be a bit more reliable then without the whole internet thing slowing it down.

I think it should definitely be an offline RPG. I love the trailer for FF XIII and versus XIII, if you haven't seen them go check them out! The music in both is wonderful, I just hope the feeling I get from watching these trailers can be sustained throughout the games, it's such a tease...But before that I will have to get a PS3! The only thing holding me back from getting one for this game is my issue with americanvoice acting. It would be a dream come true if they set up an option to select the original language (assuming it'll be Japanese) with English subtitles, I watch a lot of anime and I think Japanese voice actors are great - especially in comparison to the U.S dubs, and with the blue-ray disc technology maybe they'll even have room to put in an option like this? but my guess is they'll have more important things to include in the games. I can only hope!

i totally agree wit you!I'm pretty sure it's gonna be just a RPG, they're not making an online game when they still have FF XI running with subscribers. And if for some strange reason it would be an online game I would be disapointed.

The last FF I played was 10, and it really doesn't seem like it's been that long, but it has.
