Its a straight up rpg they allready have an online ff game they dont need 2. It is going to be awsome because they are going high tech future this time cant wait to play it.

they should only make 1 FF13 game and it should have the option of going on line but also be a single player game (like most of the FF games).AsrarQ

Online would ruin it if you had to pay for it monthly but rpg is just cool as for all other ff except Xl

Should definately stick to just an RPG, unless the online version did not affect the single player experiance in anyway, say for example you connect with a friend who then chooses one of your characters to play through your story or Vice Versa. In short there is no actual online world. ^^Just so it stops people from being completely antisocial for a week lol!

Straight up RPG, square imo is the best rpg company ever. Their CG graphics and FMV are always on top of every other rpg maker. They lead by example!

I actually enjoy MMORPG better and thought FFXI was revolutionary and by far the best final fantasy. Playing by yourself is less of a challange and off-line Final fantasy are so easy to beat.

straigh up as the good old days. I found FF11 confusing and i did try to like it... (Lvl 50 char) but i also dont want it to be like FF 12. I didnt like the battles, i preff the good turn based FF caus thats Final Fantasy for me

If you're talking about Final Fantasy XI, you're wrong. There's plenty of subscribers, so Vana'diel is still alive and kicking.Really, stop bashing Final Fantasy XI if you've never even played the goddamn game. You have no right to judge something you haven't even tried for yourself. Most of you have just dismissed it because of the fact that it has a monthly fee. Well guess what? Square-Enix employees that maintain the servers need to be paid too, unless you want a garbage free MMORPG like Runescape. Don't want to pay? Don't say anything about it.Anyway, Final Fantasy XIII is most definitely going to be a single-player game. The battle system looks and sounds like it's going to be different from our standard ATB system, which is good. Final Fantasy XII proved to be much more enjoyable without the random battles and the mashing of the confirm button. The story, I have no idea. I haven't read anything about it the story yet. So far, the only gripe I have with XIII is the fact that they're doing the same thing as what they did with VII. The main game hasn't even been released yet and they're making all these spin-off titles already. I've never played FFXI, so I won't pass any judgement on it, but I'm glad that XIII turned out to be an offline RPG - the PS3 needs a big FF title for the RPG fans out there, and there are a hell of a lot of 'em. However, I don't think we've seen the last of FF online, if only because there's so much money to be had in the MMO sector and Square probably won't be able to pass it up.
