This is kind of a strange thing. Didn't know it could go Online, or just a normal RPG. Strange. But anyways, it should stay as a normal RPG.Oh yh sorry, I forgot to say. Final Fantasy XI is an MMORPG catered to a certain audience. More specifically, it's been made for the people who strive to complete games 100%, meaning getting all the best weapons, completing all the side quests, maxing out all the character levels, etc. That's the kind of game Final Fantasy XI is. There are weapons that take an immense amount of gil to create (relic weapons), sometimes taking over two years to make. There are tons of side quests, most of which aren't significant, but many have their own little story which is pretty neat. Your one character can change jobs whenever you have access to your Mog House. Each job has their own independent level, meaning maxing out the level on, say, warrior will not affect the level of ninja and vice versa. The game also emphasizes cooperation. There are many things you cannot do in the game without the help of other players. For most jobs, that includes leveling.Is Final Fantasy XI good. Yes this is a RPG game and not a online game,the only online game is Final Fantasy XIII agito and its by cell phonebut im interested in Final Fantasy XIII and Versus XIII those will rock the PS3.

I really do hope they make it as straight up RPG, seeing that there's already another Final Fantasy which is online (With all the expansions).Hope Final Fantasy 13 will be good.

if you look at the trailers it doesnt look like an mmorpg, it looks more like an old fashon FF rpg game (with ff11 battle systematics)

A simple offline rpg i mean 7 and 9 10 too actaully are by far the best 10-2 is was kind of stupid and 11 was so sad i still can't believe they call it a final fantasy so just keep it simple and unoriginal since final fantasy is not really about game play but about the storyline if you would ask me so i would same think of another damm good story line and keep the simple off line rpg mechanism!

lol some ppl are still confused.i repeat Final Fantasy XIII and versus XIII is NOT an online game, they are like playing any ordinary RPG, however the only online game is Final Fantasy agito XIIIbtw i Believe that Final Fantasy XI should ve called Final Fantasy Online instead of XI...and yes that girl from XIIIs name is Lighting but its a code name, she hides her name, or dosent remember her name i dont remember the why, but all i know is that she will be called lighting in the game

It does look good, I mean, the in game graphics are just out of the world! Plus the fighting scenes are so intense!
