I wouldn't say the PSP is dead (though it is currently in serious condition, 2 away from dead) but it certainly does not have the RPGs that the DS has. Thankfully (and interestingly, since Square chose the disk format back in the 32/64 bit era) Square has thrown all of their RPG weight (save the one FFVII game, Crisis Core) behind the DS giving it a ton of RPGs to look forward to. The PSP on the other hand has only rehashes of PS1 RPGs from '95 on their handheld, which severly limits their ability to sell to the RPG fan audience. This gap will only widen with the 1, 2, 3, and 4 punch from Square in the form of:FF IIIDragon Quest Monsters: JokerFFXII: Revenant WingsFFXIII offshootIt is a good time to own a DS and be an RPG fan.

YAY But first I want FF3 it is teh ultimate, I used to play the original. THAT'S RIGHT!!!! even though it wasn't realesed in the us I still played it on my NES. It's awesomeness you start out playing as four onion knights it's teh coolest ^.^

yahooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!thank god FF 12 is comming out for the DSmy brother has been hogging the PS2 for a full 3 weeks and i haven't gotten a chance to play it on th PS2 yet so im happy this one is comming out for the DS thank god i bought a DSDoes anyone know whats happeneing to MGS right now i hear they are making one for the PSP and i was wondering what that one is all about

Well I'm happy with DS but where's the so called 'real' FF series for Wii 
? I mean come on, no love for the Big W 
? All they put is just FF:CC which they are going to put one title for DS anyway . Give me a complete remake of FF6 for Wii, since that's the game that save Square's butt in the first place and in the nintendo console so homage would be good .Ok enough ranting , IMHO I'm quite skeptical abt the graphic capability of DS for rendering this game tho' since i dun think they can't pull off anything near PS2 that's for sure, and either they need to use different type of graphic or we would get a horrible rendition of the characters.

well its not all in the graphics its all about the fun , and well nds has psx graphics at tops but a well made 3d game can be quite fun in the toiletWould the DS be able to hold the intense graphics?

i had no idea that this game existed....its definatly going to be on my list of games to get. i love rpgs especially on handhelds. psp is definitly getting beat by the ds in terms of games.

I head this game will be a lot more simple than previous FF because it will be geared toward non gamers, so don't get your hopes up about it so soon. Still though, if you like FF, then it'll still be a good game i bet.
