I heard the battle system is still the same with the FFXII on PS2...linear motion based battle system..It's better if SquareEnix can make it on 3d instead of 2d...they can make FFIII 3d but not for FFXII revenant wings...arghh..

Since this game is in 2d maybe the emulator is capable to play it later...U can get the screenshots at the-magicbox.com btw

hell haynaku, ur ds broke into 2? my heart bleeds for u... well, FF XII gives non-ds owners 1 more reason to get a ds,among many many other reasons(or rather games) hell i'm looking forward to it man

Looks like the game still makes use of 3D elements, particularly in the backgrounds... But really, 3D vs 2D is pretty immaterial. I'll take well-made 2D just as readily.The one thing I don't like is all the usage of isometric view. It's always such a pain because of the DS' weak diagonals.

Sweet....you have no idea how happy it makes me that they are coming out with this on DS rather than PSP. Hmmmm....maybe this means that FFXIV will be on the Wii? *crosses fingers*

I have been eagerly awaiting this game...Anyone found a gameplay vid(not a trailer)?My friends and I are FFTA junkies, our record holder has logged 350 hours on it.If this is an almost-exact port of the original 12, I'll love it.If this is an almost-exact sequel of FFTA, I'll give it my babies.

to my knowledge...FF XII RW is like a sequel to FF XII's story just like how FFX-2 was to FFX.i may be wrong though.(offtopic:i'd rather wait for Crystal Chronicles and Tatics A2 though... Revenent Wings is gonna feel wierd to those who never played FFXII prior to the DS's sequel.)
