when i want play that game really much i play the japanese version. and i discover something interesant the japanese version are betten then the english ones, exemple (tales of phantasia, megamnan battle network 6). all the games of namco are better in japanese version.so because of it im studing japanese. more 2 or 3 years and im fainaly will undestand it

i dont play japanese games. firstly i cant understand anything ;) , and secondly i prefer to wait for the us release.

Of course i do, i have 5 Japanese games 3 naruto games for ps2 and 2 gundam games ps2 cant beat a good Gundam or Naruto game even if it is in a language you cant undestand the words dont make the game the action makes the game

I usually wait until U.S release comes out. I played only once game in Japan version (Beyblade game) and I beat it but I didn't know what this signs meaned. I just picked up everything in lotery.I wanna to be begginer in the game when the english version comes out, because I wanna to know what they are talking about.

I've played a japan only game using a patch so I played it in english, btw it was Fire Emblem 6.

It depends on the game, often time i will download a big hit game and play it out to test it to see if i wanna buy it

only for very few games do I get the jap version(ROM). Then until they release th US I play that to get a sense of what the game is about.

i've played some japanese games on snes and i get too frustrated with them. i can never figure out the commands so i end up dying. i just wait for the english releases.

I played about halfway through Pokemon Gold on emu in Japanese 'cause I couldn't wait for the Australian release. It wasn't all that hard, either. I figured out what for the text was for 'yes', 'no', 'damage' and a couple of other things. It was more enjoyable when I finally got the English language version, though

Eh, play in japanese is hard to understand, but when you use to playing it, language is not the matterI suggest playing the game a little first, then delete save and play it agian to get use to the control and the meaning of wordsThats how I play
