Can't play games in japanese. Makes them way too hard. I'm thinkin of learning japanese as a second language though. Should make it much easier.

I got "converted" into playing japanese games by my brother. At first I tried to stop him but...gawd, he liked them too much because of the game quality of japanese games.

Oh I would love to.... Except for that fact that I don't know a bit of japanese and everytime i try playing a japanese game, it takes me forever to get through the intro and i am just so annoyed that i quit.

Most of the games that I play in Japanese would be those that have really little chance of having an English counterpart. Super Robot Wars series and the G Generation Series ranks high on the list. I play these games even if I dont know Japanese. :P

Usually I play the Japanese game first and then go out and buy the American release of it when it finally comes out. This keeps me hooked on it and lets me still play it :P

I used to buy japanese versions of games that haven't been released in english yet. I was impatient.Nowadays after having seen the error of my ways (or rather, the frustration that comes with playing a game you can't understand), I wait for the english version to come out. Unless of course it' a game made solely for the japanese market (like Debut 21 for the PSX, and I've never seen an english version of Tokimeki Memorial ever). And I like some of the songs that come with the japanese version that gets cut out in the english version (just recently dug up an old japanese copy of Tales of Destiny for the PSX, along with the english version of the game; love the intro song even though I have no idea what the lyrics mean).

Yep i play a lot of Jap games, Jap games are awesome, they are the best animators and RPG creators. Sad that some Jap games have never been translated and i don' think ever will. *sniff*

I'll ususally download the Rom of the Japanese game, but I won't usually import it. But if I like the game, I will buy the American version.
