I'll play the game in any language if I know what the game is about in general. Otherwise, I get lost and it just sucks.

Yep and I do fine even though I don't speak japanese. Some are fun regardless of the language, games are meant to be enjoyed and if you can find a game you can enjoy even without knowing the language you are truely happy and blessed. <_<

Games that involve reading and choosing stuff would be realllllllllly hard. I usually wait for the english version to come out.

The new Naruto game is off the chain. Definetly worth looking into. There's not a whole lot of Japanese spoken in it, but since it does relate back to the original Japanese cartoons, it's inheritance is justified.

I've played lots of them, however most have been action games since I don't really like playing RPGs or such in japanese. Sometimes japanese version of a game might have greater difficulty (ie: Rockman 2 has the same difficulty as Mega Man 2's hard mode) which makes playing more fun.

Yeah... I've played both GBA Naruto games first in Japanese. The same with the last Yu-Gi-Oh! Game... Fun thing was, was that that game had an option to put the whole language in English, even though it was the Japanese Rom :P So there was no need for the US release! :P

I want to download Jump superstars when I get enough points, I also get straight-forward games that you dont need Japanese for.

Yeah, I can't play them when they're in Japanese. I just can't do it. It's way harder to do then you think.I mean, I almost ought a PSP just to buy the Japanese release of the new PSP Harvest Moon, but then I tried to play a DS game in Japanese, and it was way too hard.

The only time I actually played a Japanese game was when my mom accidentally bought Super Mario Advance2 in Japanese. she meant to get it for me in English. But then the Japanese one stopped working so I got the English Version.

it doesn't matter if you hate japanese video games or love them you must have at least played one considering the fact that they consist of over 66 percent of all the games out there

I enjoy playing japanese games if its a brawling type of game (Jump Superstars)But if its a japanese RPG, I wouldn't waste time on it. @chikabebe:Well, playing US ver. games for long hours makes our brain ache, too :shifty:

I've tried a few Japanese games before just to test my jap a little... It's self taught. Still can't really understand a large part of them. And sometimes I wouldn't wait for the US release because there may not be one, like Mother 3... Please correct me if I'm wrong, but I think I read somewhere that that wouldn't be released in English ever. >_< Sigh.
