it's such a longtime since i played pokemon... i believe the most less powerful ball i used was a greatball which was a total last ditch effort.

f1, pokeball, miss, shift f1, rinse rise repeat, eventually all 3 regis decided that they're better off encased with a plastic ball than in the wild, rayquaza had a different opinion tho, had to use ultra balls for it, it's well worth 1200(insert pokemon currency here)

Yes, and that was after the heaps of ultra and great balls that I used on that stupid Regice.

I was able 2 catch rayquaza (5 tries) and groudon (40 tries) it was amazing

I have never actually tried to capture a Legendary Pokemon with a regular Poke Ball. I have caught some of those Pokemon using Ultra Balls.

I found a Latios and got it to little life with one hit(quick attack!) and it flew away. Next time I found it it had the same hp as when I left it and I threw my last Pokeball and caught it.

It is either luck or if you get the legendary you want to catch down to low health enough to catch it.

I don't prefer catching pokemon with advanced ball except Timer Ball, but I catch all my pokemon even every legendary with pokeballs, and that is true!! :dj:

I would never catch a legendary with a pokeball.Too much work and not enough luck.

Yes!! i caught my articuno, moltress, zapdos and mewtwo with a pokeball. this occurred in pokemon fire red.

My 1st legendary was caught by a pokeball. In Yellow version, I threw a pokeball at Mewtwo and caught it straight away. I think my friend's head exploded back then.

i caught rayquaza with a pokeball. this is the first time i use a pokeball and successfully caught a legendary pokemon. i use regice to freeze it. then i threw the pokeball. when it was caught i was very happy.

i cought Jirachi with a pokeball only because i wasted all of my other balls which all i had was 5x Repeats 23x Greats and 1 pokeballThanks from EmuRuler93

i have also caght some pokemon with a pokeball on pokemon red i caught all the legendarys with the sacred pokeball

I got lucky in Pokemon Red, yeah that's right RED. I got Mewtwo with a pokeball, i nearly soiled myself when that happened.
